This is not a blog but it is something that I want First Responders to be aware of!

Last night I had the pleasure of helping a 28 year old Police officer who recently got married to fix his 457 plan. What did I do, I lowered his fee-costs and made sure he would get a better return than he was currently making.Back to the story, the officer had $12,000 in his account and the company managing his account charged him $400dollars just to rebalance a few mutual funds. This charge was on-top of his yearly management fee and a fee-chargefor every single mutual fund that he was invested in for his plan set-up which is usually 10-12 funds. He did not understand why, but he was pissed! I said to him we can fix-it by making a phone call and it would never happen again. This was only the third time I have seen this, but it was brought to my attention by another Police Officer five months ago and a correctional officer at Hampden county house of corrections eight months ago. This new event reminded me, why i care about and more importantly why I want to help First Responders in the first place. This treatment is pathetic and is not like a Fiduciary is supposed to act by looking out for the best interest of the client first! This is the very reason why I do not work for corporate america , because I have a conscience and more importantly a soul.Thank you,John C. Verducci 111
