Thank you to the Physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, technicians, healthcare professionals,administrators, janitors, and supply handlers and everyone who is helping in this unprecedented pandemic. It is traumatic on so maany levels, and for so many people. Listen to a healthcare worker who is living it day in and day out. The Covid 19 patients are really sick and they are alone. They are very contagious. The battle against covid 19 could never be managed without your tireless dedication and just so you know the people you serve understand your commitment and we do not take you for granted. This Covid 19 has demonstrated what everyone who works with patients at every hospital and other facilities are made of. As you go about your daily routines, you are not only saving lives at the hospitals you work at, but you are also protecting so many more lives beyond your hospitals doors with your great effort. In this time of crisis your selfless sacrifice and caring for others who are sick is a GOD SEND! Our healthcare teams are spending 24/7 treating Covid. It is all they are doing and thinking about, it is all encompassing. What really strikes me is that the word "Hero" is often used to describe athletes and movie stars in our society,but from my view you, the FRONTLINERS, are the real heroes that I look up to and you are continuously in my thoughts and prayers! Hotels, dorms and Air B&B's are filled with first responders living away from their families and loved ones so as not to infect them in any manner. This deadly virus is no joke so we need genuine heroes to put on their capes and bring this under control. Look at the healthcare providers and first responders that are ill or have died from Covid 19... The medical professionals and first responders are the real life heroes that we need in this time of crisis! Thankfully, that is exactly what you are doing for every community. The weeks and months ahead will be a difficult test for all in many ways. No one will more tested and revered than those of you who manage, comfort, treat and research this virus day after day.
